Her journey began at Panjab University, where her years as a student leader gave her an early engagement with people, public life and leadership. Trained in law, she subsequently moved into business and is today closely involved with Bitter Berries and Minchys Agro, working with products and ideas rooted in Himachal Pradesh.

Theatre has remained another important part of her life. As a member of Shimla’s theatre community, she has worked both on and off stage and has directed productions including Project Turmoil and 9 Jakhoo Hill.

Between law, student leadership, entrepreneurship, theatre, design and her involvement with community initiatives, Sia’s interests have rarely followed a single path. Bitter Berries brings many of these threads together — a love for Himachal, an interest in design and storytelling, and the simple pleasure of creating things thoughtfully.

With 10 years of corporate experience and 6 years as an entrepreneur, Ashika brings a blend of strategic thinking, business acumen, relationship-building, and an entrepreneurial approach to every opportunity.
